Remember the Grit newspaper

When I was a whole lot younger, I remember my mother getting the Grit newspaper at home.  It was filled with happy kinds of features and recipes and it came out every week.  This little newspaper was a welcomed break from the cultural garbage we are exposed to today on television, in the newspapers and just about everywhere else.  That's the role I see for this blog.
