Response to Hurricane Katrina recovery

Here are two positive items about the response and recovery to Hurricane Katrina's destruction:

• Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod seems to be responding in a timely and productive manner to the needs of affected individuals. I have been a lifelong member of the Missouri Synod.

• In the Weekly Standard, Hugh Hewitt writes about how the recovery will happen best through small groups helping similar groups in the affected areas, church to church, chess club to chess club.
