Fiction: Starbucks flicks off Iraq soldiers

This morning I got an e-mail forward from some close friends about how Starbucks refused a request from a soldier in Iraq.  This guy wrote the company telling about how much he missed his favorite caffeine-based brew.  He asked for the Seattle-based company to donate some coffee to his squad.

The e-mail said that Starbucks wrote back and said they don't support the war and, thus, won't send any coffee.  The request was to forward the e-mail about this and get people to boycott this favorite coffee shop.

Inside I was saying, "Tell me it's not true about Starbucks."  I love the coffee and I love their shops.

A check of Google shows that this is fiction.  I'm thankful.
