Saving $10 a day as your approach retirement
October 01, 2005
Regardless of their liberal, big government philosophy, the AARP has good advice for those who are contemplating retirement or who may be already there. The challenge for those in these positions is probably money and either saving it or making it go farther.
They have five solid suggestions at how to get this done with links to practical resources to help.
The suggestion that caught my eye was the one called the double latte factor, the tendency to consistently spend small amounts of money on a consistent basis for stuff like a double latte. This stuff can really mount up over a period of time.
When I'm done watch the MSU-U of M game, I will print this off and read it closely.
