My first read of the day: Israeli scientists and doctors successfully germinate 2,000 year-old palm seed

The seed was found at the Herodian fortress of Masada on the west bank of the Dead Sea. The seed which was named Methuselah sprouted last year, according to a devotion in Our Daily Bread from the Radio Bible Class.
