Averill Woods (Lansing, MI) gather to discuss crime uptick

Listen to Michelle Dunnings present the purpose of last night's meeting of the Averill Woods Neighborhood Association in southwest Lansing (MI) where more than 40 neighbors, two council members and Mayor Virg Bernero attended.
At the meeting, it was disclosed by neighbors that gang violence requiring massive Lansing Police Department response took place in late June on the far westside of the neighborhood. Neither the mayor or the police would discuss what happened.
